This Week -- 7/27 through 8/1

7/27, Monday - On your own, warm up. 20 min easy run. 5 build ups of 20 sec each; stretch

7/28, Tuesday - TEAM TRAINING at Bridgeton Park, 8:30-10:15
                          Series of runs with HIIT drills interspersed

7/29, Wednesday - On your own... Do a 30 min run
7/30, Thursday - On your own... Do a 1 hr easy long run; stretch

7/31, Fri - day off

8/1, Saturday - TEAM TRAINING at Parvins. 8:30-10:15. Lake lap for time

From the Main Office

Reminder: Cumberland Regional High School currently is open on Tuesday through Thursday, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Anyone with paperwork for athletics or any other department is asked to please drop it off via the Main Office at the front of the building during these business hours only.

If absolutely necessary, athletics paperwork may be mailed in to CRHS at 90 Silver Lake Road, Bridgeton, NJ 08302, but must be addressed to ATTN: NURSES.

Again, please make note of our current business hours of 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday until further notice. Thank you!

7/22, 7/24 & 7/26

UPDATES:
This week we will train together Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (7/22,24,26), 8:30-10:15.
On Tue and Thursday we will meet at the parking lot adjacent to the Bridgeton Zoo. On Saturday we will be at Parvin's.

Note the change and update info

At our first training session we decided to meet together Monday, Thursday and Saturday mornings this week at Parvin's Beach.

We will likely be scheduling other training locations beginning next week.

Athletes are required to bring their own water, a mask, and train in small groups, as per the njsiaa guidelines for July. The guidelines for August were just released and as long as things are progressing well small group training will be eliminated.

*Masks are only required when we meet to discuss training. They do not have to worn while training.

Let's get started -- updates/changes (7/8)

The State (NJSIAA) has set Monday, 7/13, as the start date of summer XC training. CRHS is setting a later date for on campus training of fall sports, while they work out details for all.
After discussion with Athletic Director, Mr Jorgenson, we will begin sessions off campus (7/13) and move to on campus sessions in August.

So, on Monday, 7/13, at 8:30am, I'm asking you to meet at the Parvin's Beach Entrance area. We will conclude at 10:15.
At our first session we will decide a schedule of locations for the next few weeks.
Our July sessions will be held most Monday's, Thursday's and Saturday's.
*Check back here regularly for updates/changes.

ALSO - you will need to bring your own water and face mask. Water will not be shared. Masks will be worn as we gather to go over workouts and discuss training. You can remove your mask when working out.
